When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and password (stored as a hash — we never see your actual password). When you use our tools, we store the data you enter: assessment scores, reflections, goals, tasks, questions, and gratitude entries. If you opt in to our SMS Coach feature, we collect your phone number, timezone, consent timestamp, and IP address at the moment of consent, along with the content of messages exchanged with Coach.
Your data is used to provide the spence.growth platform features: displaying your assessments, generating AI-powered suggestions, syncing couple features, and sending you emails you request (like action plan exports). Your phone number, if provided, is used solely to deliver SMS Coach messages you opted in to receive. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of personal information listed above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent — this information is never shared with any third parties.
Phone numbers collected via the SMS Coach opt-in flow are used only to (a) send you messages from your Coach that you have opted in to receive, (b) verify your phone number via one-time code, and (c) honor compliance requests such as STOP and HELP. We share your phone number only with our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) strictly to route messages to and from your device — never for marketing.
When you use AI-powered suggestions, your assessment data (scores and reflections) is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate personalized recommendations. This data is processed according to Anthropic's usage policies and is not used to train AI models.
When you link with a partner, both partners can view each other's assessment scores, reflections, goals, tasks, gratitude entries, and shared session notes. You can unlink from your partner at any time in Settings — this removes shared access going forward but does not delete historical data.
Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies that ensure each user can only access their own data and authorized shared data. All connections are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Authentication is managed by Supabase Auth with secure session handling.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You can delete your account, which will remove your profile and personal data from our systems.
